Time to bring a bottle to work.

Taken with the Nikon F75.

I was just looking at the weather forecasts and they now show rather low temperatures but no snow and no sun. They can change that several times before tomorrow and the rest of easter but it doesn’t look as if we’ll get summer temperatures as they said two weeks ago in the newspapers 🙂 🙂 🙂

Nova and Albin can play so tough sometimes that Sune prefer to stay with me 🙂
Albin looks rather innocent, doesn’t he 🙂

I won’t complain even when the rain will fall because I won’t be doing anything special this weekend anyway. I have bought a lot of soil though so it would have been nice to be able to be outside and use it. The pots that will be filled won’t run away anyway so I can do it later. I must however plant one big Dahlia root I bought some time ago though. It’s a wild species which name I can’t remember at the moment but it will be very big towards autumn.

Nova is still the queen, Albin had to give up 🙂

I’m so tired but it isn’t because I’ve worked especially hard this week, it’s because we have new infrared lights that heats up the powder paint just as it goes in to the oven. They are really strong and it is now so warm where I work that I fear how it will be when summer arrives 🙂 So I better bring a bottle with me nest week so I can have water beside me all the time I’m working close to the heat. I’ll also buy a thermometer so I can check how hot it really is.

Sune looking for squirrels, after his bath  🙂

Bertil looked at the view from the hunting tower.

He had no problems getting down again 🙂

It is time to get something to eat and after that I know I’ll fall asleep no matter where I am 🙂

I’m finally seeing roe deers again. They have been gone almost all summer and the hunters think it is either a lynx or a wolf that has scared them away.

Have a great day!

  1. Hi Christer,
Excellent photographs of Nova and Albin playing and Sune after his bath. I love the one of Bertil in the hunter’s shelter. Nice sequence.

Those infra-red lights sound very uncomfortable. Summer may be tougher than a bottle of water can help. You might need to invest in water-cooled underwear or something similar. 🙂

I hope your weather falls somewhere in between whatever it is they’re saying you’re going to get. It’s supposed to be summer warm here on Sunday. I’d rather it didn’t. It’s too early.

    Enjoy the day.

    1. Hi Caryn!

Those lights are rather good when we’re having cold winters, we in the painting department are the only one wearing t-shirts, the rest in the factory usually have thick sweaters 🙂 In summer however they are terrible and with these new and more effective ones they are horrible :-)I’ll see if I can find water-cooled underwear 🙂 🙂 Otherwise I’ll just refill thet bottle with cold water all day long 🙂

It looks like we still don’t have any rain here this morning, it’s just cloudy and the humidity is up on 100%, I’m not sure I want to go outside today 🙂 🙂 One day with summer temperatures is quite ok even this early but not longer.

      Have a great day!

      Christer.

  2. Hi Christer! I woke up this morning to a thunderstorm – how lovely was that! So nice to hear and to see the lightning. This was Hunter’s first storm so the noise was new to him. He was not sure about it all. It didn’t last long sadly and now it is just raining. I think it will be like this all day.

I plan on not doing to much today – I had to stay late at work yesterday due to a department meeting and it went very late. I did not get home until after 6:30 p.m. Yuck.

Love that Albin and Nova can play and have fun! Karma and Hunter do that all the time and its a good way to get their energy down. Except Hunter is post neuter so we are low key for the next week or so. He’s raring to go but we can’t risk injury.

    Have a good day!

    1. Hi Dianna!

Albin didn’t react at all to the thunder we had but those dogs that I’ve had who did react to the thunder mostly hated the lightning, the sound wasn’t that bad to them.

Albin is much more careful when he plays with Sune, they do that a lot in the garden. If Nova is with them playing it gets tougher though and that’s when Sune rather go looking for squirrels 🙂

There were no restrictions on playing when the dogs who got those internal stitches that dissolves them selves after neutering but the outside ones which must be removed had some restrictions. So Albin wasn’t at all happy when he wasn’t allowed to play after his neutering 🙂

      Hasve a great day!

  3. Christer,
Bertil is quite agile. Those stairs are far apart yet he manages. He probably had a great view.

Albin is smaller than Sune so he probably uses more energy than she needs to use. I can tell by the looks in their eyes they are fiercely playing.

I’d hate working at a place which keeps me hot all day as I worked. Having water is a necessity. You also might consider a drink like Gatorade to add electrolytes.

Some days it is winter, other days it is spring and once in a while winter rears its ugly head. This is all too much!!

    Have a great day!

    1. Hi Kat!

He also walks down head first, most cats usually tries to back down. Teodor had never been able to get down again if he even had managed to get up in the first place. That cat is so fat now that he’s too heavy 🙂

Nova is also much wiser and knows just what to do too fool Albin 🙂 Albin has one trick though, he grabs a hold on her harness and she hasn’t figured out how to escape that yet 🙂

It would have been nicer if spring actually always meant warm spring weather 🙂

      Have a great day!

      Christer.
