Something nasty must have happened here in Sweden the other day, Trump says so, so I guess it must be true 🙂 We were all a bit surprised to hear this so one newspaper put together a list of what had happened the day in question (in English). So here’s a link so You all can read it: What happened in Sweden. To be honest, I don’t think any of it is so bad that the president of the USA would mention it in a speech 🙂
It actually looks to have been a rather uneventful day, not a single murder was reported 🙂 Here in the village it’s rare that anything happens at all, we are still talking about when the farmers garage blew up and that must be three years ago by now 🙂 Before that it must have been over twenty years ago when a villager shot a neighbors cat because he thought it was that cat that tended to beat up his dog. Turns out it was a feral cat that beat up the dog. The day after he had shot the neighbors cat the feral one came in and did what he used to do.
Today started more or less the same way yesterday did, foggy but today the sun was no way near to break through the clouds so it has been much darker and the wind is blowing pretty hard too. We’ve also had a high humidity all day, big parts of it was 100%, now it’s only 98% 🙂 Yesterday we actually had sunshine in the afternoon so it was quite pleasant. Today, even though it is much warmer it’s not so pleasant because of the wind and it looks like the fog is on its way back too.
I didn’t win the lottery so I must go to work tomorrow. It would have been nice to stay at home until this cold finally will give up but at the moment it feels like it’ll stay until spring 🙂 We really should have learned how to hibernate while we had the chance 🙂 Sleeping through the winter with a minimal risk of getting colds would be great and we would all look reasonable fit when the summer comes 🙂 Ok, we would not look that fit in late autumn though 🙂

Hi Christer, I had not heard about the President’s comment on Sweden before, but then these days I am less inclined to read all the “news.” It seems like it’s the same old events repeated ad nauseum for so many days by newscasters. While I realize that there are so many worldwide events it seems many are being overlooked. Many days I skip reading the morning news and never watch any TV news.
Hope your cold is better soon. Luckily for me this season has been healthy aside from minor back pains.

He’s saying so many odd things and apparent lies that it is hard to keep up with what he’s saying 🙂
I dotry to see our news here every day and I think it is important to do so, otherwise people like Trump will take over with their lies and then the world will be a horrible place to live in.

I just want to point out that the reason why it seems like the same old things being repeated by the newscasters is because it’s the same very important American person doing the same stupid things over and over and over again.
However, since 45 believes that climate change is a Chinese Hoax, maybe he thinks that the severe weather in Sweden that closed the highway is actually a terroristic attack. It’s difficult to tell with him.
Couldn’t have been much of a dog, if a feral cat was beating it up on a regular basis. Either that or it was one majorly tough feral cat.
If we hibernated, we’d probably look really awful in the spring when we came out of the dens not having eaten for months and months. But we’d look really healthy in the fall when we were bulking up to sleep. Fat being indicative of a successful hunter/gatherer, we’d think we looked good anyway. And we would have figured out how to keep all that body fat from adversely harming us. If we were like bears, though, the males would probably not hibernate very much. You’d still have to go work for part of the winter at least. 😦

We miss most of what he says, we only hear the best bits of his amazing wisdom 🙂 🙂 but I do follow him on twitter so I don’t miss too much 🙂 I do wonder how he realised it was a Chinese hoax? After all the Chinese didn’t care much about it until they realised they most likely would die from the air they breathe 🙂
I read in the Huffington Post that they had talked about Sweden on Fox that evening and in his huge wisdom he for some reason connected what ever it was he heard to terrorism 🙂 🙂 After all he is much more intelligent than most people, he said so himself so it must be true 🙂 🙂
I thinbk the dog was rather young when it happened and the cat is said to have been nasty in most ways.
Our male bears hibernate just as much as the female so I would refuse to work if they mustn’t 🙂 I guess we would look rather pale and we would be rather hungry after a winter’s sleep but I would take it 🙂

We all understand that it’s no fun for You living in the US but we have lots of fun reading about what he has done now. The problem is that if he screws up too much we will all be affected by it. Fox news is seen as a joke over here.

He had listened to something on Fox where two police officers here were interviewed. The two police officers says that they did answer questions but he had then deleted his original questions and recorded new totally different ones!!
Lots of Swedes moved to Your state just because it looks very much like Sweden 🙂

Varje morgon måste man lyssna på nyheterna för att få dagens skämt från USA! Trump – eller Plump som vi numera kallar honom – är bara helt otrolig, men det värsta är att så många röstade på honom – dom är nästan ännu värre!! 😦 Hur kunde dom gilla honom, han sa ju såna här idiotsaker redan innan valet!? 😦 😦
Hur gick det för kattskjutaren, fick han ersätta kattägaren med en ny katt? Hur kan man bara skjuta en katt så där, man får väl hålla sin hund under uppsikt och inte släppa ut den ensam om man har en hundmarodör i området!!!

Många röstade ju på honom bara för att de är trötta på vanliga politiker, nu tror jag att många plötsligt tycker vanliga politiker faktiskt inte är så illa 🙂 Sedan är det ju många outbildade och rasister som tycker han är deras man, dem blir det svårare att övertyga om att han är mer eller mindre galen.
Det berättar inte historien tyvärr. Han hade pratat med grannen som hade katten och denne hade berättat att det inte var hans katt utan en vildkatt som såg likadan ut. Det gick tyvärr inte in i skallen på honom. Skönt att veta att hundarna i alla fall går säkra 🙂

The way things work now is Trump says something ridiculous or stupid or in direct conflict with U.S. policy. Within a day, a member of his cabinet or his press secretary speak and back off from what Trump said, sometimes even contradicting what Trump said. They did the same thing with his Swedish comment. Sean Spicer, his press secretary, explained it away by saying he was really referencing something else. Welcome to my world as it is now!!

Fox made another blunder with the Swedish Defense and National Security Advisor man Nils Bildt 🙂 No one over here knows who he is 🙂 🙂 Turns out he emigrated to the US 1994 and is a convicted criminal in the US 🙂 🙂 🙂
I doubt that You will have to live four years with Trump as a president, sooner or later he will be removed by his own people because of the mess he makes.
