The weather is boring today or as they said last week in the radio, we’re having almost nothing weather. No sun, no wind and almost no degrees (just above 0C). This morning when I checked the weather predictions they promised lots of sun this afternoon, now they promise just the same grey and dull weather. I am happy though that it isn’t raining or snowing but I was so looking forward to more sunshine today.
I’ve sown my tomato seeds this morning, four different kinds and I bought some bell peppers earlier this week and I’ll sow some seeds from those too later today. If one sow seeds from bought vegetables one will get a good harvest but it won’t be the same as the ones one bought. The bell peppers one get are usually much smaller but just as tasty as the ones one once bought.
I still have the laundry to do but that’s it for today. I’ll see if I’ll watch a dvd or read a book because it feels like my brain finally is back in business again 🙂

What’s that hunting dog wearing on his neck? It looks like the rim of a cone of shame but maybe it’s a wire of some kind? It’s cool to see one of the hunting dogs that you mention. Looks like a type of fox hound.
Today we are having snow. How unique.
It’s very cloudy, rather chilly, and it’s damp. The snow has been mostly very light all morning but there were short bursts of heavier snow now and then. The American Model says 6 inches for my area but The European Model (more accurate) says 12 inches. The word “bombogenesis” was heard in the land. All of that will happen early tomorrow, if it happens.

It’s an antenna, as long as he doesn’t run away too far they can find him via radio signals. It is one of the sweetest Beagles there is and one of the few who is allowed to greet Nova and Albin 🙂 Most dogs around here aren’t allowed to say hi to other dogs, either they are agressive (not my dogs) or the owners just can’t control their dogs. Since they never are allowed to greet other dogs they tend to be a bit too wild and happy when they meet other dogs 🙂
We actually saw the sun for about two minutes before the gap in the clouds flew away again.
I do hope You won’t get too much snow or preferable none at all!

Igår hade vi fint väder så vi passade på att ta en prommis medan solen var framme. 🙂 Idag har vädret varit grått, grått, grått så nån prommis blev det inte. 😦 Men i morgon ska vi åka iväg, först för att åka till en sömmerska som ska få fixa till några lakan till oss. Sen till vår favoritgrönsaksodlare för att köpa potatis – och annat också om det finns. 🙂 🙂

Här har de mest boskap och de få som odlar säljer inte till allmänheten tyvärr. Men de har riktigt fina grönsaker på COOP i Skara tack och lov.

during a walk around the gardens today i noticed my daffodils are about 6 inches high. leaves are budding out on the trees and my rhubarb is coming up. we might get an inch of snow tonight but i guess i need to let winter go and start embracing spring.

Yes I think You must let it god even if iy just came for a short moment but one never knows when a backlash in the weather might come. So far only the snow drops show here, the rest I think will take their time, we still have lots of winter left even if the weather doesn’t seem to know it at the moment 🙂

Hi Christer,
I think that’s the first picture you’ve posted of another dog. You’ve mentioned the hunters and their dogs, but I know you do try to keep your dogs safe and away from them. Good to know the beagle is a friendly dog.
It is getting really cold tonight and is still cloudy. They say warmth may be coming but not for a few days. I’m getting tired of waiting.

Yes I think You’re right. The hunting dogs never care about any other dogs, they just care about following tracks. I’m more worried that my dogs will disturb them instead 🙂 That beagle is one of the few that is allowed to say hi to my dogs, the owner knows that pitbulls aren’t dangerous if they are brought up right and treated right.
We’ll have warm nights and days now fore a while they say and I really don’t mind 🙂
