I just can’t figure it out.

The temperature dropped dramatically yesterday evening and we would have had a really cold night here if the clouds hadn’t arrived. It fell down to 0C (32F) long before 10pm so I can only wonder how could it could have been if those clouds hadn’t arrived in time. They have however unfortunately stayed so except for a few minutes this morning it has been cloudy.

I've never seen mixed flocks of birds before. Two swans in front and two at the end but geese in between :-)

I went to the car as soon as we had come home after the walk this morning, I needed to change the low beam light on the left side. No problem really or so I thought till I opened the hood. There seems to be some kind of lid covering the entire thing and I can’t for my life figure out how to remove it 🙂 I think I would be able to get my hands down there to change the bulb even if there is very little space to move around but I just can’t figure out how to remove that lid 🙂 So I’ll have to call the garage to get an appointment so they can do it for me this time and hopefully I’ll be able to do it myself the next time.

I can’t find the dog toy that one fills with treats and the dogs must move around to get them out. I’m pretty sure it is Sune who has hid it somewhere. He doesn’t understand how to get the treats out, he just steals it from Albin (who by the way got it in five seconds) walks to a calm place and stares at it. He always look so surprised when the treats don’t jump out of it 🙂 So today I filled a plastic bottle instead, Sune still doesn’t understand how those treats comes out but he follows Albin and takes what he can 🙂 It didn’t take long after they had gotten all treats till Albin chewed the bottle so bad that it doesn’t work any more 🙂

It is time for a pot of tea and then a tiny nap I think. I don’t know why but I’m so tired today that I could fall asleep while writing this 🙂

Much sunnier yesterday.

Have a great day!

We walked along the creek yesterday, it's not the same any more.

    1. Hi Joyce!

Yes it sure has and the temperatures will stay around 50F from now on. I wouldn’t mind if it was a bit warmer but I sure wouldn’t want it to rise to 80!

      Have a great day!

  1. Hi Christer,
I love the light in the photo of the shed in the middle of the field. And it’s been a while since I’ve seen the blue toad house.

Plastic bottles don’t last very long with Rocky. I leave the caps on them because his favorite thing is to chew them until the caps come off. After that they are no fun anymore and are abandoned. Piki Dog doesn’t do bottles capped or otherwise.

I found a video online that shows how to change a bulb on a Peugeot 206. I don’t remember which model you have so it might not help. It seems there is a tab (that doesn’t look like a tab) which you have to pull up. This releases an oval shaped plastic cover that you have to rotate towards the center of the engine to disconnect the outside bottom peg and then rotate in the opposite direction to disconnect the inside bottom peg. After that it gets confusing. And if you are changing the bulb on the side with the window washer filler tube, you have to remove that first. They like to make things easy, don’t they? 🙂 Here’s the video:

Today is marginally improved from yesterday’s drizzly, cool weather. It’s merely dampish today. Everything else remains the same.

    Enjoy the day.

    1. Hi Caryn!

I thought it looked nice with the blue house and the yellow flower maple. I did what I could to not show too much of the wall with all the algea on it 🙂

This one didn’t either :-)Albin did a good job destroying it. I had removed the cap this time since I had put treats in it. Otherwise I do like You.

I found Peugeot 307 when Ilooked at the link but it doesn’t look the same in my car. The one I looked at was much like any car with a rubber lid that easily could be removed, my car seems to have one big plastic lid over it all and I can’t remember that there was a tab on mine either. I’ll yake a look again tomorrow when I have arrived at work, it’ll be too dark here before I leave. Thanks for the link!

Rather nice all day here, mostly cloudy but at least no rain 🙂

      have a great day!

      Christer.

  2. Hi Christer!! I can’t believe its Monday already!!!! Where did the weekend go? Yesterday we reached 25 degrees! It was so beautiful outside I spent most of it there. Now this week we will see a change in weather but I am not sure if it will stay or not.

There’s my favorite old picture of the creek!! I wish it would have stayed that way – I don’t like change! 🙂

Love the picture of the horses!! Love the way they are both staring at you – you have to wonder what they are thinking?!? 🙂

I hope your Monday went well!

    1. Hi Dianna!

      I wonder that too 🙂

It is much colder here now but they say we’ll have sunshine for most of the week. Northern winds have dried up the air and pushed away all clouds. It’s actually quite nice.

It all depends on what the change is 🙂 I didn’t like the change down by the creek at all.

Those two are always coming down to the fence to say hi when we pass but this time they wanted breakfast more 🙂

      Have a great day!

      Christer.
